I have not been logging my food at all lately. Stupid me.
But I'm curious about something. My hubs and I decided to go pescetarian for Lent. That's lacto-ovo vegetarian plus seafood. No beef, pork, chicken, or (sadly) lamb. Oh yeah, or turkey. You get the idea.
On my regular diet, I am not good at getting enough protein. Never have been. Since Lent started last week, I'm now on my new diet until Easter, I wonder how I'll do. So I've told myself that I will seriously track myself for a week and see how I do on protein. This is also good since the hubs needs much more protein (& everything else) than I do. Want to make sure we are both getting enough. Having the seafood option will help with that.
I also didn't realize I hadn't blogged at all on here since December. Guess it's update time. I am only losing weight very slowly. I'm also a little behind on my running right now as I train to walk a marathon. I've been very focused on walking. So once I accomplish that on March 27, I will kick the running into high gear. I have to decide on what I'm training for next.
This fall will be the next Transmountain Challenge here in EP. I did the 5k last year. This year I will do either the full run or the bike. The run is half marathon and the bike is full marathon. So I have to figure out which one I want to do.
