So I'm not following the Spark 5K training program like it says. I'm using it as minimums. It works for me. Today I went for my lunchtime walk/jog. I've found setting a visual goal (I'll jog to that barn/mailbox) works better than waiting for a timer to tell me to quit running. Today I jogged 7 minutes. Twice. I'm a super slow poke, but SEVEN MINUTES. Geez. One minute felt so hard a couple of weeks ago. I'm getting there. I hope I keep at this. It's a neat feeling seeing improvements like this.
Good for you! I'm not a natural runner myself, and somehow, seeing the clock count down works better for me... It's so great that you were able to find the time, and seven minutes! I hope I can do that... we'll find out soon. 3651 days ago
