Progress in a few days time

So a few days ago, I re-committed myself to changing three aspects of my journey which have been slipping as of late: Healthy eating, consistent exercise, and attitude. 2 days later, I'm pleased to announce that I have kept my word on these three things...and have lost about 3 pounds in the process :) I haven't seen that kind of weight loss in a long time and I don't expect to see 3 pounds in 2 days again as it really isn't a healthy thing. But I feel confident in it because I have been within my calorie ranges and eating right so I'm not starving myself or doing anything that would be considered unhealthy.

I've also really been trying to pay attention to the percentages of carbs, fats, and proteins I am eating. I try to keep those in range too because I almost feel like that is more important than just the calories. I mean, if I'm within my range of calories but eating 60-70% fats, that is not going to help my body out any. I'm kind of mad at myself for getting so close to my goal (I was only 6.4 pounds away at one point) and then sliding back into those destructive habits.
BUT...everybody has a set back and nobody gets it right all the time. The important part is that I'm doing this and I will keep doing it so that I can be a stronger, healthier human. Right now, I'm 12.2 pounds from goal weight and I hope to be there by March 31st. I'm not pushing for the numbers right now; I'm pushing for day by day consistency :)
