So I got up a little late this morning, ate breakfast and got ready to go to the eye doctor.
I did get chastised a little by the doctor wondering where I had been since 2003.
Oops, I guess that's just a little longer than the desired two years between exams. LOL After the doctor determined that there is no change in the prescription and my eyes are healthy he backed off a smidgen.
Went to the lab to drop off a specimen and then drove to my barber. Same thing at the barber - where have you been? Yeah my hair was a little long, but not real bad. She hadn't cut my hair since before my trip to Florida. What the heck - a month between haircuts isn't to bad - especially at my age when I don't have that much hair!
Next stop was at my son's house to do my chores there and go through his mail. It's a little hard for him to take care of things as he's in Afghanistan.
On to Best Buy just to find out they were out of the software I wanted. Dang!
Onward to Subway in Parkway Plaza Mall where I was a good boy and had an oven roasted 6" sub on whole wheat and a couple glasses of their light lemonade.
While I was at Parkway Plaza I thought I might as well go to Walmart and check out their boat covers. Well that didn't work because they didn't have any. Dang!
Time to get gas in the Corolla so I went to Costco where the gas was $3.16 a gallon. Yeah it's expensive, but it's still 16 cents a gallon cheaper than anyplace else in San Diego.
Decided to check the Walmart in Santee as it is across the street from Costco. Yay! They have boat covers. Too bad there wasn't any the size of my boat. Dang!
Figured that was enough running around for the day so I went home and messed with my computer. Low and behold, I found out Best Buy in Mission Valley had the software I wanted, but limited supply. Off I went to Best Buy and with a cursory look, I couldn't find the software. Dang! With a closer look I found it! Sure, limited supply all right - ONE! Anyway, their supply is now zero!
Came home and started to write this blog, and after proof reading it I found out where the heck the day went.
