.......Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Sunday, January 09, 2011

I know, Christmas is over, but the weatherman didn't get the message. It is snowing here in Nebraska and they are saying we could get 8" overnight....ah, if only that was enough to close the office tomorrow...haha. But, it leads me to ask my Spark friends "what would you do if you had an unexpected Snow Day and couldn't leave the house? I know what I SHOULD do, but more than likely what i WOULD do, is spend some time in my craft room knitting. I have three projects going at the moment so I am always looking for a few extra minutes to knit :-) What would you do? emoticon

I would knit! I would also shovel and maybe take a walk/ snowshoe !
If I absolutely / somehow HAD to stay in the house, I might do some active housework or a video. Maybe by next winter I'll be able to have a bike on a bike stand in the house.

In answer to your question, I'd be miserable - I'm prone to cabin fever and am NASTY when snow hits.....

I completely understand your dilemma. Our snow is suppose to come tomorrow, 5-6 inches. I will be using my stationary bike to do cardio inside so that I do not have to deal with the cold and eventual snow. Now, if only my bottom did not hurt so much from my last time I biked! But as I did not exercise yesterday or today, I have to tomorrow. By the way, I also knit, but I am a beginner. Started a couple of years ago. Right now I am working on a sweater for my mother, will be working on this forever! Good luck on your projects.
