Gotta Power Through

Ok so I'm feeling a little under the weather and usually thats all it takes for me to hit the comfort food and spend all day on the coach. I started feeling exhausted yesterday and even came home and took a 2 hour nap!! Went to bed at 11:00 and slept for 9 hours, then got up and had my oatmeal, watched some news and then slept another hour on the coach. We only have 2 days of decent weather left before its going to get bitterly cold and I REALLY want to get outside and enjoy a 5 mile walk-and I'm going to!! I might not be able to drum up as much speed as normal but I can sure put one foot in front of the other and get it done. I also did Day 4 of my 28 day challenge and will do day 5 tonight (had to play a little catch up as I took that nap and didn't get in a workout yesterday).
Here's the suprising part-I am NOT beating myself up for missing a workout or turning to comfort food. Instead I realize that things will happen to get in the way of our routines on some days and I know I can make it up another day. It is so refreshing to have a healthy attitude towards this process.
My daughter called me this afternoon and she is almost to her wedding goal-she makes me so proud!! I hope she is making a lifestyle change and not just for the wedding, I want her to be a better example to her children then I was to her. Don't get me wrong I do think as a Mom there is a LOT I did right but making negitive comments on my body in front of my children is really something I could have a do over on.
