Back at it

January is here...and as so many people realize it's time to take a serious look at themselves, I'm right there with them. When I first joined--I was SO dedicated to recording EVERYTHING little thing that I ate and every exercise that I did. I was getting ready for my big race in the Sahara--and it went amazing. Once the Sahara Race ended...I was having some issues.

I stopped my 40+ miles a week of training...my body had just gone through a shock of running 155miles in one week and then it was rest time. My body was full swing DEMANDING that I feed it tons of food, and I wasn't about to deny it--I needed to recover. Where I went wrong...was I started to eat anything and everything, rather than just stick with the healthy foods...and then of course the holidays came, guests arrived, and more holidays passed by.

I got back to my "start" weigh--NOT what I wanted to do! Now I'm back here...ready to go at it again. Focus, knowing what I need to do--and prepared to keep my diet and exercise in check!
