I like that song :)

I realized that all my blog posts start out as emo and gradually change into positive, so I'll just start out positive this time.

I've been reading a lottttt of articles on SparkPeople and they are making me feel good. I think I might be ready to change the way I live to make a permanent change in my lifestyle. I will do what it takes to do what I want. I can't just "diet" until I get to my ideal weight and then forget about what I shove into my face.

Wouldn't that be nice? Just lose all the weight you want once and then you can forget about monitoring your diet and exercise? :) That isn't so realistic, I'm now realizing. And there's no rush. As long as I do my best to stick to my calorie and exercise goals through SparkPeople then I'll get there. I don't have to lose it quick. I'd rather lose it permanently than lose it quick.

Six days until everything begins! I am excited. Here's looking at you, 2011.
