Scrumptious vegan cardamom banana date protein drink

Thursday, December 02, 2010

Hi Everyone!

The other day I entered one of my favorite vegan protein drink emoticon recipes in Spark Recipes. This particular one I use as a meal replacement.

I'm not sure that the recipe will ever be found because of the very long winded name I gave it emoticon so, if you're interested, here's the link:

You could use any type of soymilk; if it's not vanilla, you could add additional vanilla extract, of course, that's if you like vanilla.

If you are looking for a vegan protein powder that tastes AMAZING, my recommendation is NutriBiotic rice protein, vanilla. It comes in a few different flavors, as well as plain. (I'm not affiliated with this company at all).

Peace, Love & Happiness to you all,

    Hi Everyone!

Thanks for checking out my recipe.

I had a protein drink last night before swimming. Instead of adding the dates, I made another favorite -- adding one TBSP of cacao powder (Navitas organic raw cacao powder). If you're having a chocolate craving, this really fits the bill emoticon

Peace & Happiness to you all,

Sounds wonderful, Denise! Thanks for sharing it with us. I like Nutribiotic Rice Protein powder, too. I'll have to look for it. I haven't used it in a while.

That sounds tasty. I've added it to my cookbook. I've never heard of Earth Balance soymilk. I use their spread, though. I'll have to look for NutriBiotic rice protein as well. Looks like I need to go shopping, huh?! emoticon
