Mom. Massage. Roller Coaster of Life.

Sunday, November 07, 2010

Well, my Mom was moved to a regular hospital room yesterday. Things are looking SO much better for her. Thanks for all the prayers & extra nice thoughts/wishes.

Had a nice day AT HOME & finished it off by having an awesomely relaxing massage from my daughter. She moved in w/us recently & is a certified massage therapist. If anyone in N. Ft. Worth is interested-she's looking for some cashflow & is offering a 1-hr massage for $25.

I like this part of the roller-coaster ride called "life." Smooth sailing - for now.
I'm still having success on maintaining my weight by logging everything on SP. Need to be extra careful since I haven't had any cardio for about 2 weeks-can't seem to shake the "crud" in my head & throat & my body is saying, "hey stupid....let's rest a bit." But I wanna walk - at the very least!!! Hopefully this week!

Hope to enjoy the day today & then have a great week ahead!

I'm so happy that things are looking up for you and your family. And I agree about the roller coaster ride (although the dip-downs can be brutal but it's all part of it, I guess.) Enjoy your weekend!

lol..I'd love a massage too, I have to depend on getting my 3 year old to crawl and bounce on my back and shoulders.. :) I'm probably scarring him for life.
