Day 2: Getting Motivated.

Thursday, September 16, 2010

I got an idea from a good friend of mine who is also a member of this site. She is creating a motivational notebook. I decided I was gonna make one as weel. Bends we are all here to get motivated by the blogs and Articles that we read, I felt I would write a few motivational quotes for us. I got these from this site and thought they were amazing.

"A man who wants something will find a way, a man who doesn't will find an excuse."

"Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up wrinkles the soul."

"Know the true value of time; snatch, seize and enjoy every moment of it, No Idleness......Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today."

“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

“People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing -- that's why we recommend it daily.”

“Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.”

Today I went out and got in my 10,000 steps WOOT WOOT I even did over that so I'm very happy about that. I got in some Tae-bo as well. I'm really feeling motivated today. My step dad wants pizza tonight and I'm a little nervous, I may just eat one slice with a salad. I'm gonna try not to over-indulge. I don't want to feel like I'm over eating. But If I do I will not beat myself up over it, that will just make me want to work harder to not eat more than I need to.
