Reasons to NOT be depressed

I started a journal a couple of months ago and I thought this might make a good thread to share with others..
On the first page my husband wrote me a sweet note to help remind me of how much he loves me.
On the second page I made a list to remind myself.. things to be happy about. On this page I took a lot of time and made a list of all the good things going on in my life. Every one easily falls into a cycle of focusing on the bad events and we forget the simple things that mean the most.
I think today ( or some time very soon ) every one who reads this should take a little time and make a happy list. This can include any thing from the fact that you are losing some weight and feeling better to not being homeless or having nice things.
If you would like to share some of these things with us you can post but also take a copy of your list and put it up on your fridge or some where that you will see it often to remind yourself that things are not as bad as you thought.
