When I look back to the first time I tried SP last summer it's kind of frustrating. I weighed 27 pounds more back then and once I started SP immediately started losing weight. This time it's been a week or two and I haven't lost any =/ But I did go to vegas.....and 4th of July BBQ was pretty horrible for the healthy eating. SO I guess it's definitely my fault. I'll just try to keep those cant help but let it happen events to a minimum. I wasn't gonna not drink or eat a buffet in Vegas. That just wasn't gonna happen haha. But at one of my close friends' 21st birthday party I only had 1 1/2 shots! which is pretty amazing for me/the people there. =D

I'm doing well now though. I've successfully not eating cheese Tuesday Wednesday and today. I'm pretty sure the last time that happened it was because I was in China. And I passed on getting boba last night. Starting up on SP again really shows me how badly I've been eating this year. It's kind of amazing that I only gained 10-15 pounds actually. Hopefully by summers end I'll have lost that plus 10 more. Well not hopefully. I WILL. Somehow. Someway.

Went to the beach yesterday to run and it HURT. I went to sunset beach near huntington and the shore is so steep it looks like I'm running with a limp. Good times. I'm gonna make the drive to newport next time to see how that beach is. Maybe Laguna? I hope this ridiculous southern california weather becomes normal again soon. It feels like 2012 is gonna come true....

Seal Beach is relatively flat and there's not too much debris to make running difficult. Also, running near the water edge is a lot easier on you and your ankles than running on loose, dry sand.

Go for losing 1 or 2 pounds a week, if you want to set a goal to track. I remember we were losing weight at around the same rate when we started with SP. I don't think you have that much to lose, so it'll be slower than it was.
