My Goal, My Plan, and My Challenges

MY GOAL

My goal in Battle #9 is to lose 5 pounds: 5 solid, stay-off pounds.

MY PLAN

My plan is to follow the SparkPeople guidelines. emoticon

I. Nutrition

Log everything I eat. emoticon
Eat within my calorie range.
Eat 3 to 5 fruits and vegetables a day. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
Drink 8 glasses of water a day. emoticon

II. Lifestyle
Get eight hours of sleep a day. emoticon
Give and get support from my team. emoticon

III. Exercise

Complete at least one QFC a day. emoticon
Walk 30 minutes a day. emoticon

MY CHALLENGES
Eat breakfast every morning. emoticon
Go to bed before midnight. emoticon
Decide where and when I will walk and/or exercise.
Get up early emoticon to walk before it gets hot. emoticon (Daytime highs here are in the upper 90's. I don't do heat.)

I'm off to a very slow emoticon start in this battle. I guess I was assigned to the rear echelon of the Warriors. emoticon I trust myself and know I will finish strong. emoticon

Each day this week, I've let circumstances dictate my life. I have been reactive instead of proactive. Writing this blog has helped me see that, as well as the amount of stress I've been putting on myself. I can see more clearly what my mission is in this Battle.

    I love this blog, especially the part about being proactive instead of reactive. I have some extra stressors at work lately and I need to remember those words - as when I am reactive that usually means emotional eating. Thank you for sharing! emoticon emoticon
