My Goal, My Plan, and My Challenges

MY GOAL
My goal in Battle #9 is to lose 5 pounds: 5 solid, stay-off pounds.
MY PLAN
My plan is to follow the SparkPeople guidelines.
I. Nutrition
Log everything I eat.
Eat within my calorie range.
Eat 3 to 5 fruits and vegetables a day.
Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
II. Lifestyle
Get eight hours of sleep a day.
Give and get support from my team.
III. Exercise
Complete at least one QFC a day.
Walk 30 minutes a day.
MY CHALLENGES
Eat breakfast every morning.
Go to bed before midnight.
Decide where and when I will walk and/or exercise.
Get up early

to walk before it gets hot.

(Daytime highs here are in the upper 90's. I don't do heat.)
I'm off to a very slow

start in this battle. I guess I was assigned to the rear echelon of the Warriors.

I trust myself and know I will finish strong.
Each day this week, I've let circumstances dictate my life. I have been reactive instead of proactive. Writing this blog has helped me see that, as well as the amount of stress I've been putting on myself. I can see more clearly what my mission is in this Battle.
