Here I Come Again

I have been missing for a while, but I am now back and I really need some help. I am in need of something to fix for breakfast besides eggs, bacon, grits, sausage. My husband and I go out for breakfast every day. Sometimes it is 1:00 pm before we eat which throws us all off schedule and makes our dinner meal like at 8 or 9:00 pm. That is too late in the day (I am diabetic) and too late at night to eat. So we have decided to go out maybe once or twice during the week and eat at home the rest of the time. Not liking to cook has brought me a real challenge but I am going to face it head on. So people, please list me some ideas for breakfast beside what I have listed. Thanks a bunch!

    You are right - going out to eat all the time is not good for losing weight. I sometimes like a high fiber cereal bar and fruit salad with cottage cheese for breakfast.

    My favorite quick & easy breakfast is a smoothie. Fresh fruit with a little sugar free or nonfat yogurt to make it creamy. Add amini bagel with a little peanut butter and off I go.

    Why not something simple like cereal or a bagel? Or if you need to cook something--how about an egg white omelet with veggies? Good for you for realizing a problem and working to make things better.
