Vacation - day 2

well, so far this relaxing vacation has been ok, except my lower back started hurting yesterday. I did some stretching, took some ibuprofen and just tried to relax. My sweetie and I went for a really nice walk last evening. Walking always helps my back and its probably the recent lack of real exercise that was making it hurt to begin with. Anyways, we walked for about an hour. I did a little more than him - he is recovering from an ankle fracture and can't walk as fast as me. So, I lapped him a couple of times while he walked slow or did some stretching. The evening was cool and breezy, which was so nice because we had a really warm day yesterday. By the time we got home, it was dark. I really like evening walks.

Today, my back is still bothering me. I plan on taking another walk today and do some more stretching. Not much else planned. More reading, maybe a nap, some tv and just enjoying my day.

    Have you ever tried Pilates or Yoga? I think you would be a natural and your Sweetie would enjoy it too.

    I can relate when it comes to back pain. I get it everytime I run. I hope you back begins to feel better on your vacation. Best of luck! Heating in the morning, and icing at night may help a little as well. :)
