I've been to a couple of MMA classes now. Though the class has just started up and it's still more conditioning than technique, it's awesome. I'm learning new stuff while pushing myself to do more.

My weekend workout is so much more fun lately now that I've been doing the MMA class on Saturday and beach body bootcamp on Sunday. They're run by the same guy and yet it still manages to be a different experience.

I'm looking forward to learning more martial arts stuff, and my weekend workouts are way too fun to blow off. While I still hate cardio, I also still have goals that I need cardio to achieve, and they're not related to weight loss. I need to build up that endurance just so I can survive the weekend.

Last weekend I experienced another aspect of endurance. My friends took me to a club, and I was able to dance for a really long time without being exhausted, winded, or just uncomfortable. While I can't "drop it low" as well as one of them can, I can still drop pretty low, thanks in part to all the endless squats I have to do between my training and my weekend workouts.

It just feels good. All of it. Especially since I'm down below 150 lbs, and I look pretty damn good. If I got down to 140, I'd probably have those 6-pack abs I've been wanting, but now that's just a bonus. As long as I'm maintaining, all is good. Why let myself backslide when it means I'd have to STOP doing all those fun things I've been doing lately? How boring would that be?
