I really hated, I mean REALLY hated to shop for clothes! Either I was too big or I just bought too big. Also, I am so "thrifty" I won't spend more than $10 on an item with rare exception.
Yesterday I went to Walmart and bought two BRIGHTLY colored tops my actual smaller size and paid $5 each! I am thrilled!

I've found going thrifting @ Goodwill/2nd hand stores to be a lot of fun for "in-between sizes." No point in spending much if you're just passing through. One of my sisters is really into it and always finds adorable clothes. When I went with her I found 2 cute, perfectly nice 1-of-a-kind skirts and a jacket! I can't wait to go back to see about cute shirts or funky jewelry sometime. Thanks for your comments on my artwork/blog! I like your garden backdrop too. 3969 days ago

I'm so proud of myself. I lost another half lb and found the perfect flip flops for $6. Thank you for all the encouragement, Sparkfriends! 3985 days ago
DBELLE39 on moving down to a smaller size --that is fantastic --proof that you are really working the spark strategy! Keep up the great momentum -- you are unstoppable. 3985 days ago

I know what you mean. I have given all of my "big" clothes away which left me with very little in the way of summer tops. I went to Goodwill and found 4 which fit me perfectly...and they were only $3 a piece. I even found my daughter a couple in XL that fit her. I love new clothes, but it stresses me to spend the money. Now if I can only find a dress for a wedding that doesn't break the bank this week. 3986 days ago

It pays to bargain shop. I need to do the same because most of my clothes are the incorrect size. 3987 days ago
