39 week doctors appointment update!!!

39 weeks pregnant with our angel Michaela Madison!

What a fantastic appointment this was! Everything was right on track and I am progressing really well. I am now 2-3 cm dilated and 70% effaced. He was able to really feel her head big time this visit and it looks like my body is definitely getting ready for something to happen. He is estimating again that she is around 7.5 - 8 lbs. Which i am very happy with. My BP was wonderful at 116/70 and my weight gain is now at 24 pounds total. I am SOOOO happy with this as it is probably my last weigh in. I needed to stay within 25 -35 pounds and so I am super proud of how well I have done.

After my visit I had some strong contractions in Target, 2 of them, 5 mins apart. So maybe that is a good sign! We may just have a little Easter baby after all. We are soaking in these last few moments together and tonight will be taking some more pregnancy photos, trying to get those last few memories in! I took some photos today from the doctors office that I will post later on along with the ones from tonight. We have a STRONG feeling that this weekend she will be making her BIG debut! We will see!

On another note, thank you SO much for your amazing comments on the blog with the nursery photos! WOW, you guys were so sweet. So happy everyone likes her room so much, I know we do! I just cannot wait for that first little photo I get to post of her sleeping away in her crib!

I am resting for now but in a bit I am heading out for another walk with my husband. We will keep everyone posted! Exciting days just around the corner!

    Jen - great news!! Keep active when you can, get the rest that you need and she'll be here shortly. Her room is adorable, so pretty in pink. I can already see you sitting in the white chair in her room holding her, will make a beautiful picture. Does she have a pink outfit to wear home? Congrats again on your weight gain, or lack of. You'll drop 10+ at delivery and probably have the rest of it gone within the first month. Keep us posted on your progress, unless of course she comes really fast. Take care!

    I would like to say THANK YOU so much for doing such a great job of keeping us up to date. I feel like it was just yesterday that you were announcing your pregnancy...now look at you! Every time I get an e-mail that your blog has updated, I have to rush over...thinking...it's time...it's time!

    I'm on pins and needles over here, and I don't even know you guys!

    All of that to say...please make sure little Michaela knows how very loved she is, even by perfect strangers, a 1/2 a continent away!

    I'm praying for you and yours. Perhaps you'll have an extra special Easter blessing this year!
