Focusing on Protein!!!

Yep, I've been doing some reading regarding sugar sensitivities and it talks about protein. Yes, I know protein is crucial but I have honestly had issues getting 'enough' on a regular basis. So this week my focus has been on protein. Well this besides getting back into my 3:30 a.m. routine on the treadmill.
I just logged today's food and this morning before I got ont he treadmill I had a greek yogurt and a banana so 15 grams there. After I made myself a 2-egg white omelet, with a slice of low fat cheese, 3 slices of low cal bacon on a wheat muffin. My total for breakfast was 39 grams. Whoo hoo!! Great improvement.
Lunch was good too with salad with some chicken breast for a total of 28 grams. I have had a couple of snacks and made an additional 13 so I'm feeling satisfied and good so far. Now to get a healthy dinner after visiting Ava for an hour and I'd like to get out and walk. 55 degrees and sunshine, gotta move!!! Hoping for 20k today and I'm over 15k now. Very doable.
