I like charts and guides

I've finally gotten my trainer to give me more of a 'hard numbers' guide for my eating, a complete meal plan in the form of "this many servings of carbs for breakfast" kind of thing.
He doesn't do it for his clients normally because apparently they don't like these kinds of rules. I like structure when I'm doing something I'm unfamiliar with, and even though people call me a gym rat, a healthy lifestyle IS something I'm unfamiliar with.
I build muscle easily, don't gain weight too quickly, but the weight I do gain (fat-wise) is stubborn. So now that I've been on this plateau for so long, my trainer finally caved after I convinced him that I like rules. Fewer carbs, lots of protein to support my muscles, enough healthy fats to support everything, and of course the twice-daily cardio to round it all out, in addition to the other stuff.
I like formulas, dammit. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, I'll see the results of this formula. Now I just need to wake up early enough every day for cardio, and not just every other day.
