Well I realized it has been a week since I last blogged. What a bad Weezie!!!
So for the first 7 days of March I challenged myself to 25k daily. I did it! I had to work at of course but somehow I got them all in. So now the 2nd week of the month and I've decided to tone it down a bit. 15k minimum. Started out the first 2 days and got over 16k and 21k respectively. Then Wednesday I woke up and I was tired. My body was tired and I couldn't get up. Or didn't get up. I decided to listen to my muscles and bones and just relax and do some breathing I've learned in my yoga class and rest a little longer. So without my early a.m. miles, I didn't make 15k. I barely got 6k but it is okay. Life goes on. Today I did get up and am well over 16k.
I have a goal of averaging 15k daily for the month. With the numbers I've posted thus far, I only need a little over 11k daily to make it. I should have no problem. At least if I stay healthy and just keep at it.
So I will continue the next 3 days working towards 15k and then re-evaluating. I need and want to sew. So that is the plan for the next 3 days besides my 15k daily. I know it is doable.
Yoga is going well and sure does use different muscles and the relaxation is my favorite part of course. I have a new DVD I want to try out this weekend as well. Plus, I want to get back to my Jillian DVD's to work on toning and strengthening as well before the Robie next month. It'll be here in no time. I want to prepare the best I can. We're gonna have a blast!
