MIA for a bit but I am still here

I was really sick last week and didn't get to spend a whole lot of time on the computer so I missed getting points and keeping up on my logs and my blogs, but I didn't do too bad with my diet. I only went over 1 day as far as fat and calories and such go. That was Saturday when I finally started feeling better. Last week I met a milestone and finally lost that final pound or so to reach 10 pounds lost. That was pretty exciting but I didn't exercise much last week so I am afraid I may have gained it back and need to start again. However since I am still not eating much over my daily calories I should hopefully be ok.

We have a weight loss competition going on at work and I am in the top 5 weight loss winners at the half way point. That was pretty exciting. My prize for this was getting to choose from a bunch of exercise kits. I chose "The Step" total body sculpting kit that comes with a stability ball, step, bands, weights and a video. I don't have any of those things so I figured that should help me when exercising at home. Right now I only work out in the small workout room at work.

I worked out today. I didn't get my strength training in but I did the treadmill and burned 311 calories on that. I will make up for the strength tomorrow hopefully. : )

    Wow! Winning those home exercise tools is terrific. I recently bought myself exercise band, mat and balance board, and now I have no excuse for not exercising. Sometimes, when I am watching TV I take the exercise band with me and do some strength training. Keep up the great accomplishments!
