Yep, Today will make day 4 of 25k steps. I know I'll get there. Hard to believe 100k in 4 days is doable but I'm proof of it and feeling good. Only 3 more to go, then I'll take a bit of a break. LOL
On a funnier note, yesterday I get a text from Ava's mom. She had a bit of a mishap. She is nursing and was pumping when she had one of those mishaps that she spilled a couple of ounces of milk. No biggie - right? Well, if it hadn't been that it landed all over her laptop it would of been just 'spilled' milk. No worries of not having enough either. So her laptop was clearly not in need of breast milk nor had any idea what to do with it so of course the keys are stuck, etc. She did manage to get a backup done before the keyboard quit on her and was able to hook up a keyboard and get it done. Clearly no idea if the computer was damaged. So, a call to Grumpa (the computer guy) and my picking it up (got another short visit with Ava) and off I was with her laptop. Rather than be impulsive, like she is at 22 and run out and buy a new one, she decided to see if Grumpa could work his magic. He had that thing torn part and messed with it for sometime and determined the computer is fine. The keyboard is another issue but for $36 he can replace it and save her a ton of $$. She is thrilled. Plus he can clean it up for her since it is running sluggishly, etc. What's funnier to me is Grumpa can't wait to do an autopsy on the old keyboard. You can see thru this flimsy little thing but he's not sure if he rips it apart he could clean it and put it back together but the notion of being a six year old and doing so after it is back together with a new one is his idea of "FUN"! LOL
So hopefully come early next week, if the new keyboard arrives quickly, she'll be back in business and a lesson on what NOT to do while pumping.
