Nap time after a great workout

I love workouts that make you want to take a nap afterwards, makes me feel like I've really pushed myself.
Also- since starting those Jillian Michael dvd's, I've started doing a mile on the stationary bike inbetween her circuits, I feel like it's brought my workouts to a whole new level, I burn so many extra calories!

    I am hoping that this spring will the beginning of a healthy physically active life style change for me. With my health issues I have not been able to do even the most basic workout tapes. Walking is still a challenge that causes great pain.Hope to be able to do exercise tapes.

    The nap after exercise is a response to a lack of oxygen in the blood. I have heart issues and frequently find myself quite sleepy. Usually after only mild activity I find myself ready to just pass out. I feel very weak.

    I don't want to worry you, but have you visited your doctor this year? Do be careful!

    I keep seeing fellow Sparkers are using the Jillian Michaels DVDs. The day I can use those will mark a huge milestone in fitness...I can relate to post-exercise nap desire!
