All good questions to consider; thank you for this!! ~ Trish
Where are you now? - Home, after a day of fun with Patrick (aka DH).
What are you doing? - Catching up on my boards before figuring out the evening's activity.
Did you workout today? - I did! I ran on the elliptical, moved the weights around, climbed 20 flights of stairs and did pushups every five flights of stairs... and then I went bowling!
Did you drink all your water? - And then some! I am a better water drinker on the days that I work out.
Eat well? - Yep! I made a monster salad for breakfast and felt spoiled with all the fresh ingredients!
Sleep well? - I did, though I stayed up too late last night. I have a little old cat that wakes me no matter the time I go to bed. Someday I'll learn!
Treat others as you wanted to be treated by them? - I think so, yes. I was kind, polite, and friendly... unless they were in traffic with me (they couldn't hear me, though).
Are you where you want to be? - You know, I really think that I am. I'm adding ST to my workouts and maintaining my cardio, despite school and work stress. I cannot ask for more.
Are you with whom you want to be? - Gads, yes. Patrick is my best buddy and partner in everything. Between the two of us and our cats, we live amazingly well.
Are you happy? - A bit stressed with school, but happy; yes!
Sad? - Not in the longest time.
Angry? - Nah, life's too short.
Lonely? - Nope, not at all.
Bored? - With grad school? No way!
Stimulated? - Overly so some days!!
Did you do a good deed for someone today? - Ah, a good question. I did more at work than what was expected, and I tipped well at the bowling alley. Hmm, there are still a few hours, I can try harder!
Did you make someone smile today? - I was so silly today, I was surrounded by smiles (see pics below).
Do you know 42? - I know where my towel is.
What did you eat today? - Quinoa, kale, avocado, hard-boiled egg, mushrooms... like I said, breakfast was amazing.
What did you NOT eat today? - Fried stuff (temptations lurk at the bowling alley)
What did you do today that you couldn't have done a week, month, year ago? - BOWLED SEVEN STRAIGHT GAMES!!! Yas, I am thrilled; I credit upper body ST and my cardio, as I typically poop out at 3 games. GAME FIVE WAS THE BEST AT 194; unheard of in my world!
What did you wear today? - Harley T-Shirt, comfy sweatshirt and black jeans
...and under that? - I am the Victoria's Secret poster girl.
Were you happy with what you wore today? - Sure, I looked like a rock star!
Did you check yourself out in the mirror today and really look at yourself? - I did, because even my hair said, "Baby, have fun today!"
Did you focus on the good things you saw? - I tried to. I love the way ST is changing my shoulders and arms, to be honest.
Did you find fault with you? - Other than looking a bit pale and tired, not really. Today was all about enjoying the part-time work adventure.
Have you touched base with someone you loved/cared for today? - Patrick and I spent the day together, a fact that he is still thanking me for!
Have you compared yourself to someone else today? - LOL, not at all (unless you count bowling scores!). You know, Patrick calls me "Sexy Wife" and today he just might be right!
Someone you know? - Not at all... except the aforementioned scores (from Patrick; I smoked him in Game Five!).
From a magazine? - Nah, I stopped reading those.
TV? - Who has time to watch that?
Was is a positive comparison or bad? - N/A
Have you found something beautiful today? - Lots of energy, very little pain (usually bowling knocks me out) and a wild streak (see pics below).
Did you learn something new today? - I learned that I am stronger than previously believed.
Has your day become better with Spark? - By eleventy-bajillion, yes! You, Dear Reader, are a huge part of my accountability, motivation and strength. I love that, good day or bad, you are always out here. I love that I can finally be human and learn about my life choices, rather than be crazy and send myself swinging into Crazy Diet / Workout Land. Thank you, thank you!
Big hugs for GordiesMommy, who always knows how to tap into my day!!
