Getting Started Again?

Last year at this time I was in such a good place. Where did it go? Let's see. What was I doing differently:

1. light workouts every morning.
2. spending half the day on Spark really studying the articles, blogs and participating.
3. going to weekly therapy and sharing what I'd learned at Spark.

Now: I have no ambition, energy or confidence.

Ok, so I suffer from depression/anxiety as well as an unhealthy amount of extra weight. What do I do now.

1. Get back in therapy. Working on it.
2. See MD for a checkup. DONE
3. Throw myself back into Spark. Working on it.
4. Buy the new Spark book. DONE
5. Read lots of Spark blogs that encourage. Doing it.

    Welcome back and best wishes to you on your restart! I have only been able to stick to my guns here after getting a grip on my anxiety, so I understand where you're coming from. Don't give up on yourself!

    It seems like a lot of are down and battling right now. It looks like you have a good plan of attack! I found The Spark to be inspiring, myself. I did several steps that I skipped the first time around. I think the main thing is to keep coming back!

    YOU CAN DO THIS, you know! You've seen it before, that you have it within you to pull this off! I struggle with depression/anxiety myself, and have found that with the positive things we do for ourselves, and for others, the better I feel! I also go to the dr. for medications, and I don't feel embarrassed about it at all. One day, maybe I'll come off the Wellbutrin; right now, it works.

    I think lots of us are sort of revving up again with the release of emoticon .
    It is helping me to refocus on my goals plus adding some new ones. Best wishes on your journey. emoticon
    I can so relate to the depression/anxiety problem. Some of that ,I hope, will lessen if I am successful with my new job search. Things always flow more easily for me if I'm not distracted by situational issues and I'm trying to fix that.
