First, I got on the scale this morning and I was in the 170's. Haven't seen that number since high school. I was excited. So, I can now say I have lost 161 pounds with Spark People.

Second, I think I am doing the half marathon at Surf City. I am running with, my spark friend, LILHLFPINT's bib (A.K.A., Mary). I was excited about that today. Mary has been sick, and I hope she gets better soon. I have never been in a half marathon, so I will probably do more walking than running, but it still will be cool.

As for that new position that I recently applied to, I am still waiting. I was told that there is testing next week, and I should receive a letter soon about the testing.

Lastly, my sister is having a gallery showing next weekend. I am very excited for her because it's her first show. She has had a piece or two on display before, but never a whole showing. She paints, and is very artistic. She asked me if I would mind if she painted a picture based on me (no, I didn't model for it). She has been very sweet, telling me that I inspire her. I guess she already has some nice offers for this painting, and they aren't from our parents. It's kind of a cool painting, so I thought I'd share it.
