Obsessed & C25k Week 2 Day 1

I beginning to think I am getting a little obsessed with SparkPeople and getting points and exercise points and just exercise in general. When I first started last year, I got a little obsessed but eventually moved out of it. Hopefully, I will move past being obsessed with the SparkPoints, but stay obsessed with exercise. I think the C25k will help with that.
Speaking of C25k, I started Week 2 today and I was able to do it. In Week 1, it was walk 5 minutes, then run 60 seconds/walk 90 seconds for 20 minutes, then another walk to slow down. The walk to slow down was not actually mentioned, but definitely necessary. Week 2 has you switch - you run 90 and walk 60 seconds. I wasn't sure I could do it. I didn't think 60 seconds would be enough recovery time, but I DID IT! After a started my long recover walk, I started thinking about it and I realized that if I had went through one more five minute repetition, I would have run a mile. Me - almost a mile! I can't hardly believe it. I think when I do my next C25k workout on Wednesday (hopefully), I am going to attempt to add that extra five minutes of running/walking because it will be so AWESOME to say I ran a mile even if it wasn't all at the same time.
