25JAN10 - Goals for the Week

Happy Monday, SparkPeople!
My biggest goal is to try harder this week! I had opportunities to do good things last week, and sometimes I did not make the right choices to create the opportunities. Now I'm feeling a bit sluggish, but I'm not beating myself up (that's a nice change!). Instead I'm reminding myself that there's always room for improvement and that I've left myself a lot of room!
1 - Reasonable Bed Times, Up and Down
I was stressed - school work does that to me - so the bedtimes AND quality of sleep were impacted. This translated into missed workouts, which added to the stress load. This week has improvement written all over it!
2 - Workout, Even Just For 20 Minutes
Another chance to build good habits rather than letting the bad habits sneak up on me. In addition, I think I'd like to find a good ab routine to help mix up the routine.
3 - You eat / drink it, you log it
I'm not fooling myself. If I don't log it, those calories still count! Good eating habits are reinforced with accountability.
4 - Make time for me
It's not a problem - yet! - but it's another item that suffers once school is in full swing. I need to tell the books to "Back Off!" from time to time AND I need to not put guilt on myself for taking a break!
