Next - the gym.

I actually really enjoy going to the gym. However, I haven't always had the luxury of having a membership. It's been on and off over the last few years. I had a three month membership in fall of 2009, which was really helpful and good. It's basic, but clean and with the equipment I like. Plus it's open 24 hours and is easy for me to get to. I now need to save up for a year membership. It's important for me to have a gym. I don't have the space in my apartment share to really work out. Plus, I really like all the different machines. I spent my freshman year of high school on the track team - as a SHOT-PUTTER. I was a big girl...and a lot of my friends were runners. Coach Mike, he's the one who gave me an appreciation for the gym and working out. (Then we moved, and that was the end of track. My new school was strictly academic.) In college I started abusing the gym by working out for hours, sometimes twice a day. I always have to be aware of not overdoing workouts. I can't make working out my salvation, or a way to eat more food. I don't think I will this time around. I am looking forward to tracking my excerise the way I track my food. That way I can make sure I'm not overdoing it - or UNDERdoing it.
