Amazing Food!

Saturday, January 16, 2010

I came clean to Nick. He now knows that I eat and lie about it. He's going to try and help keep me accountable. He also wants to help have healthy food more. He's encouraging me to look up recipes and try them. Soooo. Tonight I made AWESOME food. I made egg noodles with chicken, celery, and carrots. I think next time I'll have more carrots, but it is still so good!!! I think I'll add the recipe here. I'm proud of Nick, he's even eating the vegetables! WOO HOO! Also this meal makes tons of extra! I can freeze some and have left overs. It's amazing.

Yay!

and yay for your boy in being supportive.

good for you for trying out a new recipe. dont know if its within your budget but taste of home: healthy cooking magazine is AMAZING. i dont like vegetables at all and i love everything ive made so far. ive even taken a subscription. its 15$ for the year. ive gotten six issues so far and i cant say enough good things about it. just a thought.

ive never read any of those books.
i cant wait to see what you read this year.

There are lots of wonderful recipe's out there - and many of them will fit with your goals. Add color - veggies - and add spice. I find cooking at home more fun than a resturaunt!
