It's January 1st, 2010-- and I am not feeling happy with myself. I have become rather lax in my eating habits over the holidays, and I have put on ten pounds in the last 3 months. Despite that I am consistent with my workouts, I still gained weight. I have heard people say, it is harder to keep the weight off than lose it, and I am finding that to be true. I didn't think that I would magically be able to keep off the 60 (now 50 pounds) that I lost, but I thought I could ease up a little on my diet. I guess I was wrong. It looks like now is when the real work starts!
I do not want to be part of the 75% of people who gain back the weight they lost within a year. I worked too long and too hard to lose it, and I'll be damned if I'm going to put it back on! I am fighting mad and determined to reach my goal weight of 150 by my 45th birthday (April 15th). Food is not going to win this battle. I AM!

I love your positive attitude and we are both going to win. It's tough but we can do it. Have a great weekend. Thank you for the spark goodie too. Amy

You can do it! I know the feeling all too well, but boy, I feel so much better when I stay on my diet and exercise regularly. I feel so BLAH when I don't! 4125 days ago
