Friday, January 01, 2010

What are my goals for 20-10.......I want to get back on a gym schedule. All summer long i was going to the gym 3x a week just to win a t-shirt(that is crazy right) I havent gone regularly in months.(i was lazy, i got sick, son got sick) So once son feels better, i will get to the gym 3x a week and do my cardio and ST. I am still walking 20min aday at work with a walk buddy( i even do it on days she is not there! that is a huge step)
I need to control my "bored" eaing. I have to eat my 3 squares and healthy snacks. and i cant forget the water and milk for calcium.
Another side goal is to get my hubby healthy. He also needs to lose alot of weight. That may be the most challenging thing for 20-10 hahahaha
So i need to get fitt in 20-10

I worry for my DH, too. Problem is the man still eats like the 6 year old he was when he was skinny and his mom worried that if he didn't eat something bad would happen. So, we try to encourage him and work around him. With his permission, I use him as a "don't let this happen to you" for our kids. Two of the three eat much better than he, one even better than me, but Claire would go down that path if I let her.... argh.

But, what I can change it me, only, and that is what I intend to do.

I too find myself in that title of bored eater. I'm also a stressed eater and an emotional eater. Lovely huh? You've taken the most necessary step for success...acknowledging what is and is not working so you can work towards change. We'll get there together!

I could have written parts of this blog. I'm a "bored" eater. I try to walk 20 minutes on my lunch break and rarely get enough water and calcium. You know what that means Lu, it's probably going to pop up in a challenge soon.

My DH wants to try a "Clean Eating" program this year - no processed foods. Easy for him-I do the cooking.

We can do this and together we're going to be FITT!
