1st Blog... Feeling excited and motivated :)

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Hello everyone,

I am new to this so forgive me LOL Today is week one of my new routine and so far so good. I have been finding that by keeping track of my food and excersize that I am feeling more organized and motivated. I have set a 10 pound a month goal for myself and really want to stay on track. Is there anyone else with the same goals? I am looking forward to getting more connected and building friendships here with people who know how hard the weightloss struggle is.

Yeah that is very true. I tend to need a goal and will not feel guilty if I dont hit it. My main goal is to just get healthy. I love this so far. :)

Hi there and welcome!! we definitely know about the weightloss struggle here but we all support each other daily. I love it. So..that said...I don't have an exact weight loss per month goal going on. I have an end goal and I just make sure that I track my food daily and try hard to stay on plan and take it as it comes. 10 pounds a month for me would probably have me feeling guilty and bad about missing the mark...but that's just me...it's taken me 3+ months to lose 18 pounds. But ya know what I say...I didn't put it on overnight so it won't be coming off overnight. It's also important to me that I lose it in a way or lifestyle that I can and will stick with. Strict dieting I can do for a little while but not forever and I plan to be done with the weight for good.

emoticon and please stop by the Loser Cafe where we chat daily about whatever is going on.

I don't have a 10 pound goal set, I go more for 5 pounds per month. However, from 9/15 to 10/30 I managed a 11 pound drop. Then I caught the flu and gained 3.8 pounds. I've lost all but 1.4 pounds since shaking the flu. So it's all good.
