take responsibility for your life and actions. You are the only person responsible for your attitude-and your life.

Today's article suggests that I am responsible for my attitude and my life and to take responsibility for it. How does this relate to a healthier life style? Well, during the past year, I have become aware that no one else is holding the spoon that goes into my mouth, and I have the ability to pay for the place where I want to exercise and to buy my food. The food that I want for a healthier life style is within my budget. It has taken me a while to recognize that there are things that I like better than the fast food place that I want to drive through in the morning to get a high calorie breakfast. And I am beginning to realize that when I'm with others, that if they want to eat the breaded deep-fried stuff, it is their business what size their waist line is or isn't. I am acquiring a tast, most of the time, for the fruits and veggies and lean meats and whole wheat bread that I am consuming. My attitude is lagging a bit, but I am beginning to embrace this new lifestyle and smile and enjoy people's company when I'm with others rather than how much I scarf into my mouth. This artilc has been a big help in realizing where I'm at. So, as today's article suggests, I am responsible for my attitude and my life and to take responsibility for it, and I am up to that challenge.
