Happy with where I am

Well, I got most of my chores and errands done today, and even managed to spend some time on SP. Decided to get involved with the Weekly Mini-Challenges Team. It seems like just what I need. Little steps, little challenges to keep me on my toes and keep me motivated.

So, with week 1 over, I've taken a little time to look back and reflect. And I'm happy with where I am. Paying more attention to what I'm eating, learning to say no, it's just not worth it to stuff myself with unhealthy food. Most days drinking all my water, learning tricks to get all 8 glasses in. And I feel so much better already. Tonight I'm tired, but it's a good tired, not a high blood sugar tired that I was constantly feeling before . Soon I will start adding more activity to my day, slowly.

I think I'm going to make a Priorities Jar, like the article I saved in my Favorites. Maybe this week I'll pick up some pretty stones, pebbles and sand. Then I'll put them together in a jar and put it somewhere to remind me where my priorities need to be. Might even be fun!
