Focus on Healthy!!

Growth and change are constant.

As I constantly spiral around in my weight and my attitudes about food and eating and exercising, I sometimes need to remind myself why and what I am doing. My goal is not just to "be skinny," though that was important too. I want strength, and beauty, and courage; optimism and self-confidence. That stuff that shines out naturally when I feel good. That feeling I can do anything.

My most successful, happiest focus is upon Health, and being able to accomplish what I want to do, whether it is look good in clothes I try on, hike up a hill without gasping for breath, or just having the courage to always be compassionate. It's all related.

That's why I'm thinking today about splurging and buying fresh fruits and veggies. That's why I've been concentrating on making time for yoga. That's why I keep trying to do more.

    I'm with you looking skinny is nice but losing weigh for your health is the best thing you can do for yourself. After losing just l0 pounds my health improved and it was all the encouragement i needed to keep losing weigh and reach my goal.

    Yoga is great. It makes you supple and aims for "long and lean".
