Selling house (yeah) don't know where to I'm going

Monday, June 29, 2009

Ok I am a little stressed out and it has totally effected my eating and my tracking of what I eat. Come to think of it I don't think I consumed a vegetable at all yesterday. My house is currently under contract and set to close on july 29. I'm very happy about this, but (and here is the major stressor) I have no idea where I'm going to go...

There are so many short sales and they take a long time to close. I know I will feel better after this month (at least I will have a plan) but for now this is creating major anxiety and I'm having a really difficult time focusing on anything else. (Enter the emotional eating....) Needless to say I have been trying to curb my nerves thru food, (it's not working.)

SO here I am again. I will start fresh and try to refocus and maybe distract myself from the anxiety I feel, or at least find a positive way to channel it. If anyone has any advice, or a similar story I would love to hear.

    HI, Melissa

First of all congrats in selling your house :)
Second I know how stessfull is to go thru the process of buying a house. Im sure is really close to the selling process as well. Just try to keep in mind, things will get better.... Maybe you need a distraction, like when the emotional eating urge comes along try to get busy doing something productive and that hopefully will take the urge of eating when you not hungry I also read that by brushing your teeth when you get a urge to eat if you bored will help distract you since it will clean your palette. I dont if this will help you, but try you never know maybe it will :)

God luck, I hope everything goes well...
