A Good Thought for All My Spark Sisters

Monday, April 27, 2009

I actually received this as a "chain letter" email from a dear friend, who is no more a chain letter kind of girl than I am. Now, I don't know about making a wish, and I don't know about forwarding it to 12 people, and I certainly don't know about what's going to happen on the fourth day, but I do love the sentiment, and I thought that I would just post it as a blog instead of forwarding it along as any kind of email... So to all my Spark Sisters (and brothers who might read it, too!):

Dear Friends -

I am supposed to pick 12 women (who have touched my life) and whom I think would want to participate. I think that if this group of women were ever to be in a room together, there is nothing that would be impossible. I hope I chose the right twelve. My hugs, love, gestures and communications hopefully remind you how special you are. Please send this back to me.

Remember to make a wish before you read the quotation. That's all you have to do. There is nothing attached. Just send this to twelve women and let me know what happens on the fourth day. Sorry you have to forward the message, but try not to break this, please. Did you make a wish yet? If you don't make a wish, it won't come true. This is your last chance to make a wish!

'May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.'

Now, send this to 12 women within the next 15 minutes. And remember to send this back. I count as 1... you'll see why.

Suggestion: copy and paste rather than forwarding it. We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance. ~ Japanese Proverb

ooooo...K! well... I generally stay far away from this 'stuff' too, T, cuz' there's NOTHING in it that you don't ALREADY know!! You have peace within and you offer peace where ever you go, Love... that's WHAT you 'do' with out any coaxing or reminders... then... it goes on to say 'may you not forget' your faith's possibilities... which you can't forget (unless stricken by some debilitating illness or accident) with a reminder to use your gifts... c'mon T, we are 'woman' and using EVERYTHING within us is what we do...

I will say that the reminder of being content with 'self' as it is... will never work BECAUSE we are constantly evolving to be better.

Knowledge 'settling into our bones' is....... almost insulting, don't you think, since we strive for knowledge in everything, everyday... ever transforming...

I do believe in most of what's written here, but so do you... so does the rest of the gang.

ONE thing that I really REALLY do love in this chain letter is the 'allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love' since... I feel that most of us struggle with 'braces on our brains' or 'bars on our dreams' and we often wrestle with how others 'see' us or get labeled or 'slotted' by someone's 'measuring stick' and we MUST break FREE of that, sooo...

in order to 'do' that... we can't allow this chain letter (who ever is behind it) to imprison our minds into believing that our dreams and wishes are IN THEIR POWER TO GRANT!! If we follow this 'person's' rules... maybe- just maybe we'll be FREE to live in happiness PLUS...

do you see the deceit here, T?!! When you send back your fabulous LIST... you will also send this person ELEVEN gr8 new emails for whatever BEHIND THE SCENES scam that's 'cookin' on that back burner!!

    Love, your
