Busy little beaver....

Wow...talk about a crazy week! Work this past week was nuts and I ended up putting in a lot of overtime. I was getting up early and coming home late just about every day, but the one thing I am soooo proud of is that no matter what time I got home, I still did my workout, every night! I even worked over 10 hours one day and still came home and did my workout!

I only lost about a pound this week but I lost a good bit of size around me, so I guess that makes up for it. And finally I lost some size around my neck - half an inch! I had yet to lose any size around my neck since I've been tracking it the last month or so, but finally I lost some! woo hoo!!!

Yesterday - Saturday, I took Daylin, my dog, to the local park and we walked for an hour around the trails...it was super freaking hot and I was a dummy and wore jeans. I wanted to stay longer but I couldn't stand the heat so we had to leave. Either way, an hour of walking is still pretty good, especially for what's suppose to be my day off! Today I was suppose to meet a friend at the mall to go shopping but she had to cancel so instead I decided to go out on my back patio and clean up my herb garden and such. I spent about an hour and a half back there pulling weeds and just cleaning up...it felt really good to not just sit around the house all weekend.

I definitely feel like I've been a busy little beaver this past week. I hope this week slows down a little bit! Well, not totally slows down, I'd rather the work part go fast! lol

    I can come up with just about any reason to skip a workout. If you can keep your motivation during a stressful week you can do it anytime.

    Cassie, what an awsome week...you wore me out just reading it. LOL..
    Way to go on keeping that body moving, even after a long day at work, and it looks like that perseverence paid off..CONGRATS!
    Even if this week is slow at work, continue on with all that exercise..

    Cassie that is Awesome. You know there are plenty of days I felt like falling over and didn't do my exercise. You pushed through it and I am proud of you. You losing inches is what counts the most. The weight will eventually start showing. I think your doing awesome and keep it up. I hope your work next week isn't so stressful. I go back to work tomorrow after being off a week. UGH!
