Out with the Lazies!

I cannot believe that I've been missing my workouts for two weeks! This is time of year where I normally feel energized to work out, but I cannot seem to get myself in gear. Granted I'm at the end of my semester (read: OMG-Finals!) and I've just started a new job, but sheesh! Those aren't good excuses for missing something that makes me feel good!

I just cannot seem to drag myself out of bed in the morning. I am sleeping well, nearly eight hours some nights. It's interrupted sleep, true, because of a few factors, but no more so than usual. Could I be getting too much sleep? My previous schedule gave me roughly six hours of sleep at night and I'd work out nearly every morning.

Thankfully I cut back of some of my calories to help me offset this lack of activity. Once I realized that I was skipping workouts, I stopped eating as if I was burning all extra calories. I am still walking to work, so that's thirty minutes of activity, but it's no where near where I used to be.

To be honest, it's probably one of those cause-effect cycles that I need to break. I'll wager that if I worked out - even a short workout - my energy levels would reset and I could get back into my routine. I've been lazy long enough and Spring is nearly here! I've got to get busy so I can enjoy life out-of-doors again!
