Day 7...

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

So I'm doing fairly well.

Yesterday while we were all downstairs I got on the elliptical for 15 minutes. My girls were good and stayed back. I only had to stop twice so I didn't hit them with the foot things and then they went and played elsewhere. So that's good that they are learning to stay back so that I can get on while they are awake which will open up the amount of time I can exercise.

I did 15 minutes yesterday though and then went to bed at a good time. Unfortunately my one daughter (she's almost 3) decided to wake up a zillion times. She was probably up on and off for over an hour. It was so frustrating and I was getting so mad. It's one thing when the baby wakes up, it's another when the 3 yo claims she's scared and won't go to sleep. She has a night light in her room and I sang to her a bunch but that just makes it worse because then she just wants me to sing to her. I just want to sleep. Sigh.

I'm pretty tired.

I had a job interview yesterday and it was crappy. I probably won't get a call back now because I was just in awe of the stupid questions she was asking. She didn't have a list, she just looked at my resume and asked the same questions over and over. It was stupid and a waste of time.

So I'll keep looking. In fact, I should go do that now.

Chow.

Great job on the elliptical, girl! I love that machine. We invested in one for our house because my husband and I were both using it constantly at the fitness center. It certainly gives you a great workout!

I'm sorry your kids have been having sleeping problems which leaves you tired. Hopefully that will improve soon.

Don't stress too much about your not-s0-great interview. It happens. Keep trucking along. Something is sure to open up for you!

Good for you girl, on the elliptical! I'm glad your girls are staying away from it while you're using it. I still have that problem with Mikey, my 4 year old Grandson who is here almost every day. I usually don't use it when he's here, unless I make sure he's occupied with something first, like cartoons, etc. Now my puppy, that's a whole different story. I have to shut the door when I use my gazelle so that he doesn't get hurt. I would love to get an elliptical, but right now $$$ is tight, and I am just grateful to have my gazelle to use.

And the best of luck on your job searching hun! You will find something as long as you keep trying.
