I never really got around to writing out goals for August. I started, but I never finished and I spent the entire month kind of directionless. I didn’t realize just how much writing out my monthly goals helps me and keeps me focused. I am going to make this month count and make up for my lack of goals last month. Marathon training is in full force this month with my long runs getting really long. Can’t wait! Every week I enjoy being able to say I’ve run the furthest I’ve ever run. I have fallen in love with my bicycle again and over the past month have really enjoyed logging lots of miles on the bike. I’ll be doing that for cross training this month. I’ll also be doing a modified version of MTC, two days a week for sure and a third day depending on whether or not I can fit it in. I’ll be doing each circuit twice as per the original version of the book and will be also going hardcore with the cardio. Go hard or go home!
1. Run at least 100 miles
2. Bike 60 miles
3. Blog at least twice a week to stay on track.
4. MTC twice a week at least
5. Start tracking food again 6 days a week
6. Be more organized in general. Make lists and follow through
7. Come up with some post marathon goals
