How many to go? (Okay, not going to think about that part.)
I'm pretty proud of myself for starting something so great. I've been out more in the past week - not strictly "exercise" outings, but for example my boyfriend reeeaaally wanted to go to Cabela's and I wasn't quite so keen. While he was checking out the stuff he wanted to I pretty much made laps around the store, being sure not to stick in one spot for too long so it was kind of like getting a walk in. Very casual, but a bit'o exercise nonetheless.
I'll be moving more with my new job, as well. I'll be on my feet 95% of every eight hour shift at least once a week, and it'll do me a lot of good. My feet were pretty sore by the end of my first day of orientation, but I'll get used to it within a few weeks, hopefully.
Anyway, here's the menu for tomorrow (I got a spiffy new lunch box so I'll start packing more):
Breakfast - Light multigrain english muffin with peanut butter & jelly; light smoothie
Lunch - Another light smoothie; light string cheese; celery, carrot and cucumber sticks; grapes and strawberries; 100 calorie pack of Cheez-Its; light yogurt
I'm also freezing a bottle of water so I have something to sip on throughout the day at work. (6:30 am to 3 pm, and I have to get up at 5:30 - ick!)
In other news, I had a little birthday money left so I got a Nintendo DS Lite (in coral pink, of course). There's a homebrew game out there called "Colors!" that a lot of people are starting to use with the DS as a digital sketchbook, including some professionals. I look forward to playing with it. For now I just have my old Advance games to tide me over 'til the flash pack arrives and I can install Colors!
