From size 18 to size 8!

Friday, March 21, 2008

Today I bought size 8 jeans. This picture shows me AND MY 7-year-old DAUGHTER wearing my size 18 jeans, which I was actually wearing when I started this massive transformative journey. Now my daughter can fit into the jeans with me, and we even buttoned them. I can't believe I was wearing these jeans 5 months ago!! (See my homepage for the pic of me in my size 8s!)

That's a heck of a piece of belly button lint you've got there....
That picture is AMAZING! When did you get the kid's toys out of the living room!?? LOL Seriously, what a dramatic example of how far you have come and what you have accomplished! Way to go!!!

Wow! That is a great picture. That is exactly the path that I am trying to take. I started at a size 18 and actually I am only shooting for a 10 or 12. Just out of curiousity...how tall are you? Your after picture is amazing. I can only imagine the swell of pride you must have felt when you bought those size 8 jeans! I'm sure that it must make all the hard work feel like it was so worth it when you see what you have accomplished for far. You are an inspiration to all of us!

Thanks once again, Wendy. Your blog entries seem to come just when I need a little tickle to remind myself that I can do this and why I even want to.

I am so happy for you - thanks for the inspiration today. I was wearing 16/18's when I started SP and hope someday I see the same success as you!
