Working 10 to 15 hour days is not very condusive to eating properly or exercising enough. Some days were way under on calorie goals but them the next were way over. I'm just so excited for Friday that i have the energy to stay motivated. See this image largerI have kind of a weird NSV: I'd weighed yesterday and saw that I had actually gained 1 1/4 pounds but, then I was able to put on a sundress that I'd not been able to wear in a long time!...and it was actually big on me! I weighed considerably less when I got it and it fit then so, I never thought in a million years that I would have been able wear it at this point. Lol! Just a normal morning here. However, not so normal is my 3rd day of 2 workouts daily, 5 pounds lost this week and after almost a year after shattering my ankle, I’m starting to wear my heels to work again! YAY!! It doesn't help that I'm finicky to begin with. Afterwards, they all were looking at me and one asked if I'd ever seen When Harry Met Sally. I said no and they said I needed to...lol. See this image largerIn the last week and a half, I've declined 3 late dinners and 4 invites to happy hour, because I was determined to workout and didn't want the extra calories. I have 3 more coming that I'm going to pass on. So, while my social life is on hold a bit, my self esteem, energy and motivation hasn't been this good in a long while. I wanted a solid 2 weeks to focus on getting back on track. Remember to take care of yourself too! Granted, with me, it’s almost a daily dose of healthy laughter. Today I was feeling good and dressed to kill at work; new job, new co-workers….and new heels. Oops! Maybe I should have stuck with the older ones. But hey, everyone there now knows I have a sense of humor…and a clumsy side.
