He has Bronchiolitis, an infection of the lungs caused by a virus, exacerbating an undiagnosed metabolic disorder. His oxygen is turned off. If he did well last night Pediatrics thinks he can probably go home some time today and do the rest of his appointments outpatient. For anyone wondering, my little bub got switched to regular oxygen, had his NG tube removed, and had his IV turned off.
