Feeling really good about today. Spent 3.5 hours doing house work - it's takes forever to catch up on laundry with a 10-year-old boy. Ate really well today and stayed on track. Picture was my lunchHave an amazing day and start to the week!! So glad I'm part of this community nowTrying to keep the smile on while working and helping my son work on a paper for school. Say a prayer, helping a special needs child put together an outline with no written instructions is insanely hard.Renewing my commitment to myself. I may slip up and fall behind but I will not stop. Every day is a new day to make positive changes.Dinner was nutritious: salmon, sweet peas and zucchini pasta in marinara. Here's my dessert: a Halo orange and 3/4 cup of Bosc pear. Could have had ice cream but decided to stay on track to end my weekend on a good noteMy yummy lunch today: spicy black bean burger, cup of green beans (I already ate most of them) and organic white quinoa. Filling and healthy. First time having quinoa, it's not badHappy Monday!! Already started my day off with a mile and a half walk. More to come later. Make today a great dayHad my shake for breakfast. Needed to shake things up because what I was doing isn't workingDecided to give Intermittent Fasting a try. What I've been doing, isn't working. A little more structure might helpI skipped OT and spent this weekend with my son, swimming and playing - much needed quality mother/son timeIt was pouring this morning and I wasn't able to get in my morning break walk, so I was able to get in extra strength training. Took a nice stroll with my sister in the cool evening air and got in an extra 2 miles that I hadn't expected. The storm helped cool the day down and make it more bearable.My motivation has been extremely high the last week. I'm loving it. Say a prayer or send me good thoughts that it sticks around this time. I have goals I plan to crush and I can use all of the positive energy I can get to keep me moving forward.Got in a morning walk, some strength training and stretching. Plus a little meal prep for the next few days. Starting my week off right!Posted a photoStarted my day with a 2 mile walk, strength training and stretching. It's going to be a great day!I fell asleep early last night & woke up without an alarm. I got up and put on my workout close. Did strength training and a 2.25 mile walk. I could have been lazy but I'm stronger than my excusesHave a great start to the week everyone!This made me laugh so hard. I will donate to a cause directly before I run a race that doesn't give a medal :)Needed this reminder today. Took a few days to rest my knees and ankles. Back at it today and I'm slower than before my rest days, but I still movedGood reminder for today! Happy Thursday Sparkers!!Love who you are, because you are Sparktacular!!!I didn't want to but I did my strength training this morning. It was only 15 minutes but something is better than nothing. Ignore the images of what you think your health should look like and focus on how you feel as you get healthierNeeded this reminder today to keep pushing forward to making myself the healthiest I can be!I will no longer fear failure. I'm just learning new ways not to do something!Getting my mind right every day!Be proud of every step you take, every ounce you drop, every inch you loseis is This is how I woke up this morning. I could have slept in. I could have hit the snooze button. But I got up. did 20 minutes of upper body strength training; 18 minutes of core exercises and then took a 23 minute walk. I have goals and sitting on my butt won't get me there!Because I'm worth itGreat reminder to keep moving forward. We are sparkers, we sparkleis got in 26 minutes of strength training and 26 minutes of cardioI was out late. I'm tired. I can do it later. I can do it tomorrow. Be your own cheerleader!!!is I used today as a recovery day. But that doesn't mean I didn't do anything. I was still up at 5 AM and I still was active for 41 minutes. Instead of weights and cardio, I did active stretching.Making small steps towards success every day!is
