I soak 1kg of rice overnight, which dramatically cuts cooking time the next day. Bag or box up into portions, these are 1.5 cup portions and COOL QUICKLY!
You must cool and freeze promptly. I use picnic iceblocks to help. This is to avoid bacteria multiplying causing food poisoning.

With less than 1in 3 in the UK and 1 in 10 in the USA (a significant portion eating NONE which I don't even understand what they are eating) the conservative recommended 5 isn't being reached. Let alone the number we receive real health benefits at.
I am at 13 portions today plus white potatoes which don't count but are still nutritious. We average at least 8 a day, most days more.
